Appealing to divine saints after death from the perspective of the Qur'an

Abstract

Appealing to divine saints after death is one of the issues that has its supporters and opponents among the Sunnis, and it is widely accepted by the Shiites. This issue has sometimes caused division between Islamic sects and even within religious sects, for this reason, the viewpoints of the supporters and opponents of the aforementioned topic from the perspective of the Qur'an, wisdom and history of the sects (Sunni and Shia) have been explained and examined with the aim of better familiarity. And more detailed, the difference is made from the point of view of the opposite side and as a result, it leads to the convergence of the two sides who agree and oppose this issue. In this article, which was carried out using the descriptive and analytical method, the following results were obtained: 1. In the Holy Quran The order of tawassul has been clearly stated, therefore the issue of tawassul is a Muslim matter among Muslims. 2. It is clear from Islamic sources that it is permissible to appeal to the Prophet of Islam during his lifetime, and after his death, it is also permissible for the majority of Muslims; 3. From the narrations of Ahl al-Bayt, it is clear that the best way for servants to be close to God is the beloved Prophet of Islam, Ahl al-Bayt and the saints of God; 4. Appealing to divine saints is intellectually permissible and has no intellectual impossibility, and there are many narrations in the history of different countries that tell about Muslims' appeal to divine saints.
