Abstract

As a human-building school, Islam has a special educational system. Islamic educational system has fundamental differences with other educational systems. These distinctions mainly come from the way Islam looks at human beings. For this reason, it is necessary to explain the educational system of Islam. Explaining the elements and components of this system, which includes the goals, foundations, principles, factors and obstacles of education, requires theorizing and extracting them from authentic religious texts and sources. The purpose of this research is to infer and formulate the constituent elements of the Islamic educational system in order to grow and improve the educational activity in the society. In this research, using the analytical-inferential method, the goals, sources, foundations, principles, effective factors and obstacles of education have been explained from the perspective of the Holy Quran. The findings of the research show that guidance, order and legality, purposefulness of the rule of law in the world, the most important existential foundations and the principle of educability, the two-dimensionality of man, freedom and dignity, are among the basic principles of the Islamic educational system. According to the Qur'anic verses, heredity and environment are two elements that play an effective role in human education, and worldliness and lack of sufficient motivation are among the main obstacles to education. The main goal of education from the perspective of the Qur'an is to be close to God and to be ascribed with divine attributes.
