Hope and effort in the thoughts and poems of Seyyed Ismail Balkhi Based on the Quran

Abstract

"Hope" and foresight are the basic foundations of life and "effort" is the most obvious reason for the meaning of life in human thought. The purpose of this article is to examine these two concepts in the thought and poems of Allameh Seyyed Ismail Balkhi, which is based on verses and narration and is done with a descriptive and analytical method; Investigation not in the sense of concept but in the sense of the position and importance of these concepts. The reason for choosing this topic is that Allameh, as an Afghan man, can be one of the best role models in fighting against despair and trying to overcome personal and social life problems for Afghan people today. The findings of the research show that, keeping in mind Islamic teachings and the Holy Qur'an, he ordered his nation to have high motivation, ceaseless effort, and fight against ignorance and superstitions that cause the backwardness of the society and the sterility of ideas. The effort that he ordered can be realized sometimes in the wearing of battle clothes and sacrifice of life, sometimes in the form of pen and knowledge, sometimes in thinking and situational analysis and cultivating political talent. Therefore, it is his audience who should use his talent, power and effort according to the knowledge of the requirements of the time and people, while he never has the right to be disappointed in achieving the result of his efforts.
