Abstract

From the point of view of Islam, the most important mission of a teacher is to educate a well-educated person. In the verses and traditions, both a very lofty position and a very serious responsibility are mentioned for him, to the extent that his duty is considered the job of prophets. Therefore, this serious cultural and educational responsibility requires that the teacher must have good qualities and morals in order to be successful in education. This article seeks to explain and analyze the ethics of a teacher from the perspective of the Qur'an and narration, which is compiled with analytical and descriptive methods. The purpose of this research is to make the Quranic teachings efficient in the field of education for the audience, which examines the teacher's ethics in a very detailed way. The findings of the research show that a worthy and successful teacher must have moral requirements such as purity of intention before God and scientific qualification, humility and compassion and meekness before the society and especially his teachers, and he should strictly avoid some unsavory behaviors with bad consequences.
