Abstract

Spiritual life is the most important goal of the mission of the Prophets (PBUH), which can be interpreted as the gem and main element of religion. The purpose of this research is to take a small step in the direction of meaning and analysis of these journeys, and an attempt has been made to address the question of what are the most important individual and behavioral indicators of spiritual life from the perspective of the Holy Qur'an, using a descriptive-interpretive method and using library resources. The claim and findings of this research, by dividing the journey into horizontal (forward) and vertical (upward), is that in order to achieve spiritual life as the ultimate goal of human life, a person needs to migrate from material life to spiritual life, and basically life Spirituality is nothing but an existential (vertical) journey that makes an ordinary human being a transcendent human being. This spiritual journey within itself requires smaller spiritual journeys; A journey from idolatry to godliness, a journey from egoism to worship, a journey from imitation to research, a journey from horizons to self, a journey from others to self, a journey from neglect to remembrance, a journey from indifference to egoism, a journey from contemplation to pragmatism, A journey from self-reliance to trust and a journey from negative feelings and emotions to positive feelings and emotions.
