The concept of nation and nationalism is one of the controversial issues that have occupied various groups of people for a long time. This research was conducted with the aim of investigating the Islamic perspective on nationalism. The research method is descriptive-analytical and the related materials are collected from reliable historical and hadith sources in a library manner. The question raised by both religious people and non-religious people is that concepts such as nation and nationalism are in complete conflict with religious teachings. Basically, does religion value and importance for this category? This research has answered these questions. The results show that based on the different perceptions of nationalism, the two mentioned groups have come to such a belief, while by referring to religious texts and reliable historical reports, we find that the issue of nationality and nationalism are acceptable issues.
