Personal development from the perspective of the Holy Quran

The main goal of the Quran is individual development and human excellence. Although the term development has been used in the last century and is mostly used in economic, political, social and cultural development; But the hypothesis of the present research is that it is possible to extract and explain valuable content from the Quran with an ethical, religious and educational approach, perceptions of the Qur'an about the components of personal development, its factors and obstacles and the characteristics of a developed human being and the Qur'anic model of personal development. This article is an examination and highlighting of these components of personal development from the perspective of the Holy Quran, which was compiled with the analytical and descriptive method. The main axis of development is man, and until the individual is developed in most dimensions, all-round political, cultural, economic and social development cannot be realized. According to the findings of this research, personal development is an evolutionary movement and is associated with the change and transformation of the individual and spiritual evolution, and it progresses from imperfection to perfection, which has two worldly and hereafter goals. The main goal is the goal of the hereafter, which brings human excellence and evolution, and it goes through stages such as awakening and awakening, knowing the goal, knowing the path and guide, refining the soul and continuous movement that is in the form of righteous action, and finally ends in the nearness of God. It may be the final destination of this move.
