Basics and indicators of authentic spirituality in the Holy Quran

Abstract

Today, many spiritual schools and self-defined spiritualities are offered to people who are thirsty for spirituality. It is a necessity to recognize the true spirituality from fake spirituality and authentic spiritual school from deviant schools. What are the foundations and indicators of genuine spirituality that can satisfy human spiritual needs? This question should be submitted to the Holy Qur'an and received its answer from that holy book; Because the Qur'an is a source of reassurance and can guide a person to genuine spirituality. In this article, the data of which was collected by the library method and then processed by the critical analysis method, it is tried to explain the foundations and indicators of holy spirituality with respect to the verses of the Qur'an. In this regard, four bases and three indicators for holy spirituality have been mentioned. The division of the world into the unseen and shahadah, the originality of the unseen world, the divine nature of man and the expanded rationality are the foundations of authentic spirituality and rationality, Sharia-oriented and balance, constitute the indicators of holy spirituality that have been examined in this article.
